St. Canice’s Boys’ National School is located in Finglas East in Dublin 11. Our school caters for boys from Junior Infants to 6th Class.
Our school was refurbished in 2005 at a cost of €4 million. The school consists of 16 classrooms, 9 Special Education Rooms, PE Hall, Library, Parents’ Room and administration offices.
We currently have almost 400 pupils in our school with 20 mainstream class teachers, 9 Special Education Teachers, 7 SNAs, a secretary, a caretaker and a principal. We strive to continue our long tradition of success in the academic, arts, cultural and sporting areas.
St. Canice’s Boys’ National School is a Catholic school where children of other faiths are welcome. In our school we aim to create a community where the Gospel values of truth, justice, tolerance and compassion are fostered.
