St. Canice’s BNS have a strong tradition of participation in Athletics.  We participate in the Cumann na mBunscol Gaelic Athletics competitions annually.  We have also participated in other events like a recent event in Santry where Ms. Bianconi and Ms. Coyle brought a group of boys from 5th Class. 

We are very fortunate to have very skillful athletes who always try their very best every time they take to the track or field.  Our pupils always represent the school extremely well and we always ask our pupils to encourage each other and to be respectful towards the opposition and officials.
