St. Canice’s BNS often organise coaching in basketball for our pupils.  We are fortunate to have a great coach, Praha Buvaneswara, who works with our children to demonstrate and teach the various skills of basketball.  Praha is an excellent coach and encourages all of our children to develop their skills in the sport of basketball.

While we don’t have a competitive team taking part in competitions against other schools, children learn the skills of basketball and play games for fun.  Many of the skills of basketball transfer to other sports also.
