Our School Day
School begins at 8.55am each morning for all pupils. We encourage parents to ensure that children to come in to school on time as this is an important learning time for children. This time gives children a valuable opportunity to socialise with each other. Depending on the class level it also provides an opportunity to play or to correct homework from the previous day.
All classes have a small break and a lunch break. Children have an opportunity to eat some lunch in the classroom and also get to play in the yard.
At the end of the school day children are escorted to the school yard and can be collected by parents/guardians there.
School finishes at 1.40pm for children in Junior Infants and Senior Infants
All other classes finish at 2.40pm.
Please Note:
- It is very important that all absences are notified to the school. Parents should submit absences using the Aladdin app/Aladdin website or by sending a note to the class teacher.
