School Garden

School Garden

St. Canice’s BNS have developed a beautiful school Garden over the past few years.  The Garden is a space where our teachers and students can visit and enjoy the beautiful flowers, plants and trees.  There are eight plots where we grow flowers, plants and vegetables.  We have invested in some nice furniture for our students to come and relax, read or engage in lessons.  Our Parents’ Association helped fundraise for the purchase of the furniture.  Their assistance as well as the generosity of the school community is greatly appreciated.

The garden is excellently maintained by Joe, our caretaker as well as Ms. Mulkeen.  A huge amount of time and effort has gone into the garden over the last number of years and all the hard work has transformed this space into a fantastic part of our school.   A special thanks also must go to our teachers and students who help out by planting flowers and by keeping the 8 plots neat and tidy.
