2nd Class - Room 4

Room 4 had a blast in Term 1!

Since our last update, the boys in Rm 4 have gotten up to lots of exciting activities and learning. The boys continued their music lessons with Bróna. They learned how to play ‘Jingle Bells’ on Boomwhackers and even learned ‘Let it Snow’ in Irish Sign Language. The boys did lots of hands-on learning about 2D shapes. They also wowed us all with their ‘spooktacular’ costumes on Hallowe’en dress up day! To end the term, the ‘Cinderella’ panto was a fantastic day out!

Fun in Room 4!

We have been busy getting up to lots of fun and exciting activities in Room 4.  We recently started GAA with Coach Hayden which has been lots of fun. We are also taking part in the Roots of Empathy Programme with the lovely baby Éabha and her mam Stacey. We are lucky enough to get to watch baby Éabha grow throughout the school year. We created self portraits in art which are on display outside Room 4. In addition to this, we have started music lessons with our Music Generation teacher Brónagh! Inside the classroom, we have been learning and having a great time since returning to school!
