A Busy Term for 4th Class!

 We are off to a great start in Room 11! The boys have settled in really well, and we have all enjoyed our first month in school.

In maths, we have been busy revising place value and developing our problem-solving skills with the help of interactive games and our mini white boards. 

We have experimented with lots of colour mixing in visual arts. The boys have produced some great work, including a response to Claude Monet’s Water Lilies.

Gaeilge is a time we look forward to every day in our class. The boys have been enjoying playing lots of cluichí to revise our oral language and comhrá skills after the summer holidays. 

We have also been able to enjoy some fun athletics lessons outside for P.E. The boys have been competitively sprinting, jumping over hurdles and taking part in relay races. 

We have been working on some construction in STEM, this week we used marshmallows and spaghetti to construct some 3D shapes.

We are looking forward to all the learning and fun that the rest of the year will bring!
