Room 6
We had a very enjoyable Term 3. We celebrated Friendship week and had cooperative games in the hall. It was great fun and we had some help from the 6th class boys. In March we celebrated World Book Day, where the boys showed great creativity with their costumes. We welcomed the 5th class boys to our class to do some Buddy Reading, which was really enjoyable for all. We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day, where the boys wore green for our lá glas. We also had a wonderful ceoilchoirm in the halla. We welcomed our parents into our classroom for a lovely reading activity and Anthony read a story to the boys. We had a wonderful day in Explorium for our school tour and we enjoyed many fun trips to the playground.
Room 6
We had a very busy and enjoyable Term 2. The boys enjoyed doing wellbeing sessions with Una Curran, where we practised mindfulness, story time and story massage.
The boys really enjoyed the lead up to Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed rehearsing for our Christmas play, ‘Ralph the Reindeer’. We were so proud of their performance on the day and we were delighted to welcome our parents in to see the play.
We have been learning basketball skills with our coach and we also had the Storyteller Niall De Burca in which we thoroughly enjoyed.
To finish a wonderful term, we went to the Panto and had a really fun day.
