Room 17 – 3rd Class – Mr.Burns

Since returning to school in September, our class have made a fantastic start to 3rd Class! It’s hard to believe that we are already in 3rd Class as we settle into our new routines and get stuck into lots of exciting learning.

In Maths, we have been revising our knowledge of place value and developing our understanding of numbers through a variety of fun and practical activities. We have been enjoying learning together and challenging ourselves along the way.

In Irish, we have been learning all about ‘Mé Féin’, where we have been practising talking and writing about ourselves in Irish.

During our art lessons, we have been exploring perspective art. We have been experimenting with perspective drawing techniques to create some fantastic artwork. It has been great to see everyone’s creativity and imagination shine through!

We have also recently started our swimming lessons on Friday mornings, and we are having a brilliant time! We are enjoying developing our swimming skills, building our confidence in the water and having lots of fun along the way.

It has been a busy and exciting start to 3rd Class, filled with lots of learning, creativity and fun. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for us!
